Delivery to UK mainland is generally a 2-day service, while UK offshore islands and other overseas countries normally take 3-5 days; see Delivery & Charges.

CHANGES TO ONLINE PAYMENT PROCESSING – SEP 19

In September 2019, mandatory changes to online payment processing will be put into place.

The new regulation, Strong Customer Authentication (SCA), will apply to all online payments within the EU, where the cardholder bank and payment provider are located within the European Economic Area (EEA). The aim of this new regulation is to reduce fraud and make online payments more secure for customers.

Following the changes in September, the SCA will require customers to enter a two-step authentication process or a two-factor authentication process, in order to fully verify a purchase; this will include:

  • Something your customer knows, i.e., a password or pin.
  • Something your customer has, i.e., a mobile phone.
  • Something your customers are, i.e., a fingerprint.

After September, all transactions that don’t include the new criteria during the checkout process will be declined.

We are already working on a solution for our payment gateway, together with our e-commerce provider to ensure our shop remains compliant with the new regulation.
